The EOS M100 is Canon's newest entry-level mirrorless ILC model. Despite being appreciably smaller (and cheaper) than its higher-end M5 and M6 siblings, it comes with the same 24MP APS-C sensor equipped with excellent Dual Pixel autofocus. It also has Canon's latest DIGIC 7 processor, as well as Wi-Fi with NFC and Bluetooth for connectivity.

The list of improvements over the original Canon C100 is rather large. MP4 recording, 1080 50/60P in up to 35 Mbps data rate, an OLED screen, a new high resolution EVF and an overall new placement of buttons just to name a few. I guess my biggest concern when working with the new camera is the way to achieve slow motion (50/60p) recording.

What is NOT obvious when you first start using the C100 is that if you close the LCD, you get the SAME FEATURES IN THE VF AS THE LCD: WAVEFORM, 

Canon's follow up to the C100 has been fantastic for me - since I upgraded from the original C100 to the Mark II, I am certain I couldn't go back. As anyone who is looking to purchase this camera probably knows, there were a few main upgrades Canon made to the Mark II.
